Concha y Toro Casillero del Diablo Cabernet Region: Maipo Valley, Chile Grape Variety: 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Carmenere
This wine is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot, both sourced from the well known Colchagua valley. The wine has been aged for six months in new and used American oak. Deep ruby red colour, very appealing. The nose is packed with layers of caramel, cinnamon, candy and hints of mint, with a prevalence of fruit over oak. A spicy, full-flavored wine, with good body, fruit and firm friendly tannins. Full body in mid palate and pleasant finish. Well recommended for pairing it with a piece of soft red meats, some pastas or as wine by the glass. D.O. Colchagua Valley.
Description: It is a strong fruity wine with beautiful Chardonnay character. Evident banana, pineapple, and tropical fruits in the upfront with a well-integrated oak that helps add elegance without covering the fruit. The Malolactic fermentation makes a full wine in the mid palate with long and pleasant finish and nice buttery after taste. Nice balanced between fruit and oak.
Beautiful and delicate ruby red color. Intense and elegant nose with predominance of strawberries and flowery hints that all together makes this Pinot Noir a very lively, harmonious and generous wine. In the palate is clean, well balanced, with soft rounded tannins and a good level of acidity. The wine is lengthy in the mouth showing a well integrated and balanced oak. Due to the very intense microbiologic control this wine is very lightly filtered, what makes the aromas and color very expressive of Pinot Noir.
